About this product
The Josie bunk bed gives you a practical solution for shared bedrooms and sleepovers, with solid pine that handles daily use. It sleeps two on single mattresses, freeing floor space for play and storage. The fixed ladder gives safe access to the top bunk. Comes with two Habitat Kids Rae Comfort Open Coil mattresses included, so you've got everything you need. The natural pine finish works well with most bedroom colours and styles.
Built from solid pine with wooden slats that support the mattresses and allow airflow. Each bunk holds up to 100kg, suitable for children aged six and over through to adult use. The 15cm mattresses are foam-free, chemical treatment-free and hypoallergenic for healthier sleep. They're single-sided, so you won't need to turn them. Safety rail on the top bunk stands 34cm high. Must be fixed to a wall using the included fittings for stability. Self-assembly required with two people recommended. Includes clear instructions and one year manufacturer's guarantee.

It is a nice set, just had a bit of a problem as tge pieces didn't have the stickers as stated on the instructions but was easy to work out. For the price I paid which had a discount. I mean you can't go wrong. I only gave it a 4 star because of the sticker issue but as of furniture I am a happy bunny and so are my children.

It is not necessary to fix it to the wall (this is only required if the product is not stable and does not pass the stability test defined in the EN 747 standard). However, this is also subject to the surface the item is being place on being flat and stable too.

The height between the floor and bottom of the bottom bunk is 22cm.
