About this product
The Josie Bunk Bed gives you a practical solution when two children need to share a room or friends stay over. It's made from solid wood with a white finish that fits most bedroom styles, and the sturdy frame supports up to 100kg on each bunk. There's a fixed ladder to reach the top bunk, and wooden slats support the mattresses without needing extra support. Two Habitat Rae Comfort mattresses are included, each 15cm deep and designed for bunk beds with open coil springs for support.
The mattresses are foam-free and hypoallergenic, suitable for children with sensitivities. A safety rail on the top bunk measures 34cm high to help prevent falls during sleep. The frame must be fixed to the wall using the included brackets for stability, particularly important in homes with active children. Assembly requires two people and all fixings are provided. Suitable for children aged six and over, with both bunks safety tested for adult use too. Part of the Josie collection, backed by a one-year manufacturer's guarantee.

It is a nice set, just had a bit of a problem as tge pieces didn't have the stickers as stated on the instructions but was easy to work out. For the price I paid which had a discount. I mean you can't go wrong. I only gave it a 4 star because of the sticker issue but as of furniture I am a happy bunny and so are my children.

It is not necessary to fix it to the wall (this is only required if the product is not stable and does not pass the stability test defined in the EN 747 standard). However, this is also subject to the surface the item is being place on being flat and stable too.

The height between the floor and bottom of the bottom bunk is 22cm.
