Well made

this is a well constructed timer. Handy to be able to take front part off to do the settings. Instructions re setting it are vague and it took a while to work out how to do it. QR link for video not much help

Sprinkler timer

Having installed this and got it set up it is easy to install and a good size the screen is basic but clear to see, and instruction on setting up was easy to follow. Once up and running it all works well timers etc work and allow in the summer months a sprinkler to be left on with a timer

Just what I was looking for my garden

Gardena Water Control Flex is must tool for your garden. Its main controller has 1" tap connector, but the box contains two quarter tap reducers (1" to 3/4" and 3/4" to 1/2") to make it fit nicely to a standard tap size of 3/4" or even the smaller 1/2" tap size. It also comes with an instruction manual, but I preferred the video tutorial using the QR code provided. The controller needs a 9V battery (not included in the box) to operate. Using a battery over mains power is much desirable for me, as it looks neat and tidy. For the timer set-up, you need first to set the current time, followed by the time of the day you want the controller to turn on the water flow, followed next by how long it will stay on, and lastly the interval (in hours) for the subsequent on time. The interval is limited with the following options only (in hours): 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, and 72. In case you need the water to flow outside the programmed schedule, you can easily bypass the timer by just a simple push of a button. Overall, the product looks durable and is a welcome addition to my garden tools. I don't need to worry for my plants during the summer season in case I'm out on holiday for an extended period of time.

What’s in the box , well within the box you will find the control box , which has two different adapters to connect it to an outside tap and also one to connect it to your push fit connector on your garden hose . The instructions are simple, plus you can scan a QR code to watch a video. You will need to buy a 9v battery to operate the controller this only takes again less than a minute to install and no tools required, this makes it very durable in the fact you are not relying on mains power and can be used on any outdoor tap location in your garden . Simply set the time and duration, make sure you have the tap on and it will activate the water as you required. Ideal for when you’re going away or very busy and need to water the lawn or with accessories it can water plants as and when needed . No tools required to install this can be put onto tap or taken off in under a minute, so when it’s not needed can be put away. Timer on the controller is very simple to use and again scan a QR code and watch a video, or just look at the illustrations within the instructions either way very easy to setup.

Easy to setup

Easy to setup, no tools required for battery, but cautionary note it needs a PP9 battery and there is not one in the box. You simply pull the front off to install the battery. I liked the big rotary dial for setting time and settings. Comes with a good host of adaptors to suit different outside taps. The display is clear and readable. It gives you lots of options for number of waterings, from 6 times a day to 1 every 72 hour

Very easy to use and program

I have a few timers for our garden and green house and they are all a real pain to program but this one was really good. So easy to figure without the instructions very clear screen and can be set up in the warm as it come off the pump. It’s well made with a very solid plastic you need a 9v square battery which is easy to fit. Overall it works well and the timer set up is a breeze

What A Neat Little Gadget

If like me your a plant killer becuase you forget to water them then this is definitely for you, easy to set up with its clear digital screen, child lock, manual Watering and safe stop technology, it is rain and uv protection so no need to worry. You can adjust the time, how long it comes on for and how frequently it comes on for. I'm looking forward to my strawberries this year.
