Don't trust it
Instructions say turn 3-4 times at the end to ensure securely fixed and it just undoes those turns automatically due to the spring mechanism. Two of these came down each once in the first week. Don't trust it as far as I can throw it

its not the best quality product. I had to buy a pole holder for each end to keep it up as the pole doesn't hold tension and falls down but for £10 what was I expecting?

I bought a white Telescopic Shower Rail and rings as a temporary fixture for my walk in shower. When I tried to install the shower rail in my bathroom onto porcelain tiles it was not possible to lock it in position. Both end of the rails was sliding. This was caused by the material fitted to the end face of the shower rail. This shower rail is not fit for purpose. The material at the end face of the rail should be rubber or similar material. Also the internal spring should be stronger

Shower pole
Took me several attempts to put up followed instructions when i got the right length twisted it to lock then it just twisted back ,and pole fell down hopefully it stays up

I actually bought this to use as a towel rail as I rent my property, It's long enough to secure along a bathroom wall to hang towels on,The adjustability is good an it's sturdy once it's up. I actually have 3 of these elsewhere for use as clothes hanger rails.

The supplier has advised the following for the Home 140-260cm Telescopic Rail - Black:
“ To extend the rod quickly, let the rod hang down from your hand while holding the small tube. The large tube can then spin downward easily.
Turn the tubes in opposite directions to make the rod longer or shorter.
Once the end caps are touching your walls, turn the rod 3 or 4 more times to tighten the rod into place. ”
