Good for extra curtains
Not in use yet, but I find the ones I have bought previously are great for hanging curtains in various places, not just in bathrooms, especially to keep out draughts in the winter. I also have one as an extra hanging rail in my wardrobe! Once you have mastered how to get them tight enough to stay up they are great, however if your curtains are heavy or the walls uneven,, you can buy cups to stick on the wall to stop the rails sliding down, I had to do this in my porch when I think it was a combination of cold damp air and uneven walls and heavier curtains that stopped the rail from staying up as it had been up all summer with lighter curtains.

i brought this around christmas time for not intended purchase i used this to mount my christmas garland above my tv in a encove , i could pack away on the pole and no messing or redoing each year the pole holded weight well and stayed up rather happy with purchase

Very bad quality shower pole
The 2 pole end bits are not well made hence the pole comes off. Flexible rubber pole end bits would have been ideal. It is difficult to secure the pole tight with the poor mechanism.

The supplier has advised the following for the Home 140-260cm Telescopic Rail - Black:
“ To extend the rod quickly, let the rod hang down from your hand while holding the small tube. The large tube can then spin downward easily.
Turn the tubes in opposite directions to make the rod longer or shorter.
Once the end caps are touching your walls, turn the rod 3 or 4 more times to tighten the rod into place. ”

As the shower rail is extendable, there are two pole sizes for this product, one is 19mm diameter, another one is 22mm diameter. So the pole rings diameter must be larger than 22mm.
