Great for my daughters halls of residence room at Uni. Fitted a treat, solid once locked in place. Easy installation, great chrome finish. Being made of plastic and chrome im hoping it will be corrosion resistant but time will tell.

Zero tension spring
Absolutely dreadful. Once tightened, it immediately failed and the tensions released. I have never got this to hold in place once in position, no matter how much twisting I do, it springs back and falls down.

A pain to install
Poor purely based on stability and install, was a pain to install whenever i try to open it up and its touching the wall it would just spin on the wall, probably need two people one on each side but thats a lot of hassle, ended up scuffing up the wall a fair bit and not sure its super stable

Good value, provided you temper your expectations
The telescopic shower rail is good for the price, although not quite as "grippy" as I would like. However, a lot depends on how far you extend it. The pole really needs to be extended to a good 2cm beyond the width of the gap where it will be mounted. This requires more effort to squeeze the pole to put it into place, but also means that the spring applies more pressure and holds the pole in place better. There is a fine balance though, extend it too far and the pole will flex and bend when it's in place, which doesn't look good.

Easy to use
I needed a shower rail/rod thst did not require drilling. A friend recommended this one to me. It is telescopic and fits my 6ft wall to wall bathroom over the bath. It is a twist action to extend the pole. I have attached mine on top of tiles and it is holding well with no issues so far. I would recommend this item.

“ To extend the rod quickly, let the rod hang down from your hand while holding the small tube. The large tube can then spin downward easily.
Turn the tubes in opposite directions to make the rod longer or shorter.
Once the end caps are touching your walls, turn the rod 3 or 4 more times to tighten the rod into place. ”
