Sturdy, Simple, Effective
This is a nice backpack and good if you're in a pinch and need a new one desperately (like me). I can confirm it's very sturdy as I'm a cleaner and often have lots of heavy supplies in the bag but it holds the weight well. Unfortunately it doesn't have side pockets but that's not a huge issue. If you're using it for work then it's good too - it fits both a large new IPad and an old clunky laptop with room to spare.

No, it would not be suitable, this is not intend for use in this way. The backpack is design for general use, e.g. travel or daily use and is designed only to hold the usual sorts of things you’d keep in one, e.g. books, etc.
