The Manhattan Freeview box is praised for easy setup, large storage, recording 2 shows while watching a third, and good picture quality. Some miss Netflix/Prime apps and note slow startup or channel issues.

Great TV Recorder complete with apps
Bought to replace our old set. It was easy to set up and simple to use.

Good value
Excellent device with record 2 and watch another channel but did need an external aerial and a signal booster to get the best from it. I did get 100 plus channels without the signal booster (from a loft aerial) but now have 200 plus without sound distortion and pixelation. Wanted to get away from the permanent 2 year contract from sky, still gets sky news and sky mix on Freeview though. No easy way to get prime or netflix through the box but my smart TV handles these over an internet connection. The interface is slightly different to sky Q but has functions to hide, delete and set favourites. The record function of record 2 channels and watch a third works very well. Very pleased but did have to wait 2 days to collect from an outlet.

Great replacement for sky
Bought this as a replacement for sky a replacement for sky Q , Its still early days but i cant fault it easy to set up even for me and a pleasure to use, more channels than we can use and no more ever increasing monthly bills, more than happy at the moment,

Very Pleased
Bought this about 4 weeks ago. Setup was easy and quick, with clear instructions, a get started booklet and a full instruction book. Always nice to get proper written instructions rather than a website. Needed a firmware update out of the box but that was a quick 2 minute job with my fast fibre broadband. The recorder works well, tuner seems sensitive and the software is pretty intuitive, my wife is the main user and she isn't very tech-literate, but she's getting on fine with it. Remote control is very good, nice positive action on the buttons, be aware that it uses AAA cells so battery life may not be that great compared to other units using AA. Overall very pleased.

Exactly as described
Very easy to set up and such a lot to enjoy I brought this to replace paying for Sky t.v. and very pleased that I can watch 95% of programmes free of charge and upgrades already being offered so hopefully will soon be 100%

Great Product
previous recorder failed, got this one in a bit of a rush not fully familiar with this manufacturer. However, got it up and running in about 30 minutes including the Freeview Channel Scan, and over the next day became more familiar with it. So although not from the same company, it proved to be very easy and simple to set it up and use. So far very pleased with it.

Smart with great storage capacity
This is very easy to set up and has massive storage capacity. You can record 2 programmes and watch another one. It works silently and the power light is small and does not interfere with your vision .

Brilliant
Excellent little bit of kit and so easy to use. This was to transition an 82 year old away from sky TV due to the prices. She got it going in a few minutes and hasn't stopped using it since
