Easy to set up
Replaced a Humax recorder with this box. Easy to set up and use. Nice looking box with easy to see light on the front to say when it is on or off. It’s early days but we are really pleased with it and the picture quality on our TV looks more defined and sharper. The only drawback is that there is no Netflix app.

The Manhattan is a very Good Set Top Box
I wanted a new set top box after a Humax one gave up. The Manhattan was easily installed and is effective. I don't have to add to internet traffic by streaming programmes I want to watch. It is not difficult to get used to and has plenty of storage

Manhattan T4-R offers all I need in a recorder.
I had a bt box for several years. Recently it started to not record or playback properly so decided the time had come to replace it. As I'm no longer a bt customer I needed to find an alternative and this Manhattan T4-R is excellent. It was easy to install and set-up. The programme guide is simple to use and recordings are easy to manage. Pause and rewind live TV. Highly recommended.

Easy to instal.
Only bought it 2 days ago, it was so easy to set up, I have made a couple of recordings which was so easy to set as well. Bought to replace a Humax which had give up the ghost as recordings, all were deleted and the pause and rewind functions had failed. The only difference is I could record 4 programmes at the same time but the Manhattan I am limited to 2 but I will learn to live with that by using catch up.

Seems OK
Seems OK after a few days. Replaced previous Manhattan box which only lasted 5 years - hope this one is better, has many more functions than previous, so hope it is not more to go wrong. They still need to sort out transferring data off old box to new box, impossible to keep special old recordings.

Manhattan T4. So far, so good.
I have only had the T4 for a few days and only made two recordings so far. Used with a TCL android tv the programme guide is very good and the recording process is very intuitive. The remote control has a couple of programmable keys but nothing special, i.e., volume, channel, mute and power of the TV. The playback picture quality is not great but I may not have got the settings right just yet. Compared to my aged Humax it is very much faster and much easier to navigate. The supplied HDMI cable was a little short for my original set up, but neither of two longer cables I tried would work!
