Easy to set up and use. Some great features- eg if you record 2 programmes, then you want to record a third which clashes, there is the option to reschedule it to another day.

Rubbish picture don't no how they dare sell them
Worst Freeview pvr ever picture way too soft some channels are unwatchable had a download improved a bit but got a reconditioned Humax 5000t of eBay a milion time's half the price..better don't no who programs Manhattan but the want t get there eyes fixed. Gone back to the best Humax this is a waste of money

Argos had it in stock when others didn't, quick efficient service. Easy set up and works well so far, only a few weeks. Hoping long term reliability is good as it is replacing virgin Media and their extortionate monthly rates.

much better than Humax
This is so much more reliable than the Humax 1Tb we bought a year or so ago. Got fed up of the Humax missing scheduled recordings or not showing programs to select on the guide.. (No information available!!!) It is also a lot more responsive to actions and also has ITVx This one only has two tuners but can live with that

I recently made this purchase after making on line comparisons. Not too many choices for this type of entertainment. Overall Manhatton come out on top and I am very pleased with it so far. It us easy to operate and certainly is good value.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Manhattan T4-R 1TB Freeview Play 4K TV Recorder: ''Please note that the Manhattan T4-R 1TB Freeview Play 4K TV Recorder is a terrestrial receiver and it requires connecting to an outdoor rooftop TV Aerial. It is not a satellite receiver and therefore connecting to "a sky q dish" will not work.''
