Absolutely love it!
After having 2 humax boxes in the last few months, both of which were faulty and returned, I decided to try the Manhattan freeview box. Best thing I ever did. So quick and easy to set up and the picture quality is perfect. All the apps load more or less instantly, our old Humax was getting slower and slower all the time and this is a massive improvement. Would highly recommend Manhattan freeview box.

Great purchase
Bought this recently and very pleased with it. Easy set up and I like the viewing format choices and screen views. Stange that you have to use both TV & power buttons on the remote to get things going, but a press on the power button switches everything off!

Manhattan T4-R Freeview Recorder
Purchased Manhattan T4-R Freeview player TV Recorder couple of weeks ago to replace a Humax machine which never worked correctly. The Manhattan does everything it is meant to and we are very satisfied with it. Only issue is Argos have still not issued my Nectar points for this purchase or the Insurance I paid for. I should not have to chase for the points from Argos.

Poor SD picture
Bought this to replace a Youwiew box , the picture quality is not As good particularly on standard definition. Nearly returned it but don’t think the Humax box would be any better

Home page very good from which to navigate
Previously had a different make so am not so adept at using it yet but instructions are good and logical so far am very happy with it. My wife can use it and that is an indication of simplicity….it not her!

I can advise that no, you cannot use an indoor aerial with the Manhattan T4-R 2TB Freeview Play 4K TV Recorder. The T4-R requires a rooftop aerial to pick up most live TV and radio channels. Indoor aerials may pick up some Freeview channels, but for the best coverage and performance, it is recommended to use a rooftop aerial.
