Bought to replace ageing recorder. Easy to set up. Mainly use it for recording programmes, but have used BBC iPlayer without problems.

Planning versus spending
Missed previous TV boxes (Sky and BT) that I used to have and were able to record , particulalry lots of films and shows at Christmas / Ne Year but no longer.. this does the trick and adds a couple of Internet channels and the main TV Apps to the great list of Freeview channels.

Absolutely love it!
After having 2 humax boxes in the last few months, both of which were faulty and returned, I decided to try the Manhattan freeview box. Best thing I ever did. So quick and easy to set up and the picture quality is perfect. All the apps load more or less instantly, our old Humax was getting slower and slower all the time and this is a massive improvement. Would highly recommend Manhattan freeview box.

Hello Degs,
I can advise that no, you cannot use an indoor aerial with the Manhattan T4-R 2TB Freeview Play 4K TV Recorder. The T4-R requires a rooftop aerial to pick up most live TV and radio channels. Indoor aerials may pick up some Freeview channels, but for the best coverage and performance, it is recommended to use a rooftop aerial.
I hope this helps.
