I purchased this hob to replace the hob due to it being slow. The Bosch hob is so much quicker.

An unfortunate choice!!!
Not a lot to like as the controls are virtually unreadable. So feint that I have to use overhead lighting to read and have marked the dials with a white inset.

Smart Bosch ceramic hob
Easy in install as fitted perfectly,however does not hard wiring into a separate socket which had an electrician do.Looks smart,however does seem to attract dust though,would have been good if it came with a protective cover.It heats up fairly quickly,but does take about 30mins for the plates to cool down after,so don't try cleaning it for awhile.I accidently burnt my micrifibre cloth on to the plate.Luckily I got it off using Ultra brite cleaner and a glass scraper.I have learnt from my mistakes.Also you need good magnetic pans as otherwise they can take ages to heat up and they mark the hot plates.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bosch PKE611CA3E Electric Ceramic Hob - Black: Connection is at the back, in the centre of the hob. There is no connection cable. The appliance must be installed by an electrician for Perilex plug connection.

The supplier has advised the following for the Bosch PKE611CA3E Electric Ceramic Hob - Black:
“ All types of pans will be ok to use on ceramic hobs. Only induction hobs require a specific type of pans. ”
