The Bosch PKE611CA3E Electric Ceramic Hob makes everyday cooking easy with a timeless look and simple controls. Its ceramic glass surface wipes clean in seconds, so you can tackle spills without fuss. With 4 cooking zones, there's room for several pans at once whether you're making breakfast or sorting out a full dinner. You get 9 power levels on each zone, perfect for everything from gentle simmering to rapid boiling.
Dial controls at the side let you quickly adjust the heat - just twist to turn up or down, no complicated touch panels to navigate. The residual heat indicator shows which zones are still hot after you've finished cooking, handy for safety and for keeping food warm while you plate up. Zones range from 1.2kW to 2.2kW, giving you enough power for boiling pasta or softening butter. It fits standard kitchen spaces and needs hardwiring into a dedicated cooker point. It comes with a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Have not been disappointed, the temperature control for each ring is spot on. I like the dial switches, but find it is easy to inadvertently turn on a ring whilst cleaning the hob. This is the only negative I have found

Argos wins again
Saw this in a usual appliance showroom but didn't have the one I want in stock and did not know if it was going to be available. I wanted a hob with know controls they offered me 2 days delivery for the digital controls with £30+ extra cost. Went home looked at argos. Same price in stock next day delivery £14 .Amazing so happy I wanted a Bosch I wanted know controls excellent service. The advert is quite right would not have thought I would get the exact holiday wanted from argos. Would highly recommend them.

Also, the positions of the individual heating areas are sensibly positioned to allow for all areas to be used at any one time. The only minor problem is the visibility on the switches, they should be brighter in colour.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bosch PKE611CA3E Electric Ceramic Hob - Black: Connection is at the back, in the centre of the hob. There is no connection cable. The appliance must be installed by an electrician for Perilex plug connection.

The supplier has advised the following for the Bosch PKE611CA3E Electric Ceramic Hob - Black:
“ All types of pans will be ok to use on ceramic hobs. Only induction hobs require a specific type of pans. ”
