The VTech CS2001 Cordless Telephone gives you twin handsets for convenient calling around your home, designed to keep nuisance calls firmly at bay. This cordless phone blocks up to 30 blacklisted numbers plus common unwanted call types like international or withheld numbers, putting you back in control of who gets through. The 1.8 inch jumbo backlit display illuminates completely, making it easy to see who's calling even in dim light, whilst the 30 name and number phonebook keeps your important contacts within reach.
It offers handsfree calling with a quality speakerphone, 10 ringtones, and adjustable speaker and ringer volumes. Caller ID and a 20-number call log help track contacts, while last number redial reduces time spent dialling. Batteries provide up to 13 hours talktime or 200 hours standby, with a 50m indoor and 300m outdoor range. Out of range and low battery indicators keep you informed. The box includes handsets, charging bases, power adapters, and phone cables, backed by a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee. A Caller ID service from your provider is needed to use call blocking.

It is an inexpensive phone and looks good for the price. However I found it almost impossible to read the display, not easy to navigate and the ring tones were gratingly high pitched. It wasn't a complete disaster and might suit most people, but I returned it to Argos for a refund.

They seem fairly well made. To be honest I never really use them, I only have them as there's a couple of people who call me that always ring me landline but I always use my mobile, so it's hard to judge. One thing I did notice is the range of ringtones is not great, I would prefer a standard old ring ring noise instead of all these crazy warbles.

The supplier has confirmed to use the VTech CS2001 Cordless Telephone with a Sky Hub, you will need to purchase a cable to connect it to the phone socket. The VTech CS2001 requires a cable with a BT jack at the hub end and an RJ11 connector for the phone handset. It is not supplied with the phone, so you will need to buy the appropriate cable to ensure proper functionality.
