About this product
An upholstered ottoman bed that brings practical storage to your bedroom while keeping your space looking tidy. The padded frame sits on a sturdy sprung slat system that supports your mattress evenly. There's hidden storage underneath with a hydraulic gas-lift mechanism that makes the base easy to open, even when bedding's in place. The headboard has a winged shape with scalloped detailing, upholstered in soft plush fabric with a velvety texture. Angled metal legs in a gold-effect finish lift the frame off the floor. Available in pink and grey.
The ottoman lifts from the end to reveal a storage compartment that holds over 540 litres, enough space for spare bedding, out-of-season clothes, or anything you'd rather keep out of sight. The fabric feels soft to the touch and handles everyday care with a quick wipe down when needed. The metal legs keep the frame stable and provide 15cm space underneath for easy hoovering. GFW Pettine Double Bed
Took 2 people 2 hours to assemble lots of bits and bobs especially on ottoman bit. But pleased with bed very solid and massive amount of storage which is what I wanted. Only downside is the mattress that i ordered is 28cm deep so sits very high on ottoman lift I thought part mattress would sit inside bed frame but it doesn't (picture in description the mattress must be very thin) But overall very pleased with purchase
