When you welcome your new bundle of joy into the world, you want to bring them home to a space that makes them comfortable, safe and cosy. Our range of baby and nursery essentials will do just that, with furniture sets that you prepare before they even arrive, to super soft clothes you have ready for when they finally come home for the first time. With our range, we've got everything you need all in one place, so you can tick a few things off that seemingly never ending to do list to prepare for your little ones' arrival.

The little things that make a difference

Getting ready doesn’t mean having every single thing figured out. Sometimes, a few extra pieces bring together what you already have, putting you in a better, more prepared position than before. For example, nursery furniture sets, like our range of cots come with a comfortable mattress included, create a comfy resting place for baby and less faff for you. Add some soft baby clothing to the mix and they’ll feel as snug as a bug from morning til night.

And when it feels like they're growing faster than you can keep up with, don’t worry, you can find playful extras like bath toys for every stage of their crucial early development. So, let us help you get more prepared for their arrival with our range of baby and nursery essentials.

What should I look for in nursery furniture sets?

Firstly, consider the space available, with larger rooms being the ideal choice for one of our cot, chest of drawers and wardrobe sets so you can store all those baby changing essentials within arms reach. If you have limited space to work with, no problem! Opt for a 2 piece set with a cot and chest of drawers, which should still be more than enough for your baby's tiny clothes and some everyday essentials.

Thankfully you don't have to worry about colour clashing, as these sets are available in a range of subtle neutral tones that will complement any decor you decide for your little one.

What toys should I get for my baby?

When your little ones are at their most curious, safety and simplicity are key. For newborns, soft toys, rattles and playmats are the ideal choice for tummy time, then as they start moving around and exploring more, stacking cups, soft balls and textured teething rings are a great idea to improve fine motor skills and spatial awareness. Whatever you choose, make sure they're non toxic and free from small parts to avoid choking hazards.

If you want your baby to keep having fun while you've got a few chores to do, baby bouncers keep them entertained and learning while keeping them safely in one place. And when it comes to making their everyday necessities as fun as possible, bath toys for babies are a simple way to turn washing into a wonderful aquatic adventure.

How can I keep my nursery furniture sets clean?

While your newborns immune system is still developing, its crucial to keep their surroundings as clean as possible, especially when parenthood can be a messy job at times. For day to day cleaning, wipe down any surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and baby-safe soap, then give everything a good dry to prevent moisture damage to the wood. Upholstered items need to be vacuumed regularly, and for any food spills and other accidents, make sure you clean them up right away with a damp cloth and baby safe detergent.

In their cots, make sure you wash and change their bedsheets regularly (once/twice a week), and replace them immediately if any accidents or spills happen.
