One filter refill for the ShowerPro Diamond, lasts 6 months. The carbon block houses our patented formula, which is the result of many years of research and of which we are very proud. It breaks down the mineral to prevent limescale formation, as well as trapping the remaining heavy metals and over 70 substances your body doesn't need.

Water Temperature: Safe for use with both hot and cold residential shower water. Disuse Period: If the shower filter has not been used for several days, let the water run for 30 seconds before use. External Cleaning: If cleaning the outside housing for scale build-up, use only water and vinegar, and remove the internal refill cartridge first (the refill is not washable). Bacterial Growth/Replacement: Replace the cartridge every 6 months maximum. Activated carbon is organic and can accumulate bacteria or microorganisms over time if left past its lifespan, regardless of usage frequency.
