About this product
Reduces chlorine which effects taste and odour of food and drink. Reduces limescale, protecting your kitchen appliances such as kettles and coffee machines from build-up and damage. Permanently absorbs and retains metals such as lead and copper. Suitable for all Brita Classic jugs and some retailer own labels jugs. Yes, the Brita Classic Refill Cartridges are designed to fit most Brita pitchers and dispensers, including older models like the fridge-friendly jug. These cartridges do have the long groove down the side, which helps them fit securely into the filter housing.

"No, the Classic and MicroDisc aren’t the same.
The Classic cartridges are compatible with the Classic jug filters that are no longer manufactured by BRITA.
The MicroDiscs are compatible with the BRITA water filter bottles and the BRITA water filter carafe."

- Height 12cm
- Width 6.5cm
- Diameter around the largest part of the body is 18.5cm

I can confirm that these cartridges are not compatible. The Sainsburys jug is compatible with Argos Home cartridges, BRITA MAXTRA and MAXTRA+ cartridges.
