About this product

Brita water cartridges
I gave these water filter four stars.as even though they say they are brita filters and come in brita filter packages they still try and.slip up abit from water filter jug even though they fit a brita classic water filter jug and are brita they seem to have change style of cartridge on top of cartridge you can't seem to keep it moving up in cartridge when tipped up to filled even though I lock it in by twist cartridge it still moves so have to put something on top of cartridge to stop it but the filtration of.cartridge is very good and taste better

Good quality cartridges
I always try and stock up on these filter cartridges when they’re on offer as quite expensive. I do buy other brands but find Brita the best for filtering water, Argos is one of a few places that sell the classic cartridges

Genuine Brita Filters
Genuine Brita Filters at a decent price. I have used the 'copy cat' filters but they tend to colour the water with charcoal in early use. Plus they tend to block and need to be removed and shaken up to maintain a decent flow. The genuine ones do not have these problems.

"No, the Classic and MicroDisc aren’t the same.
The Classic cartridges are compatible with the Classic jug filters that are no longer manufactured by BRITA.
The MicroDiscs are compatible with the BRITA water filter bottles and the BRITA water filter carafe."

- Height 12cm
- Width 6.5cm
- Diameter around the largest part of the body is 18.5cm

I can confirm that these cartridges are not compatible. The Sainsburys jug is compatible with Argos Home cartridges, BRITA MAXTRA and MAXTRA+ cartridges.
