Meet the ERA TAB 8, a genuinely pocket-sized 7-inch tablet built for smaller hands and easier days. Light enough to hold unaided at just 772g, and slim at 9.8mm, it slips easily into a school bag or onto a sofa cushion. Its HD IPS display delivers the same clear, accurate colour as its larger siblings, whilst 32GB of storage, expandable via SDHC/SDXC card, keeps apps, games and downloads covered without ever feeling cramped. Powered by an octa-core processor with 4GB RAM, it stays responsive for streaming, browsing and online classes alike, and the battery delivers up to 15 hours of use, depending on usage, recharging fully in 3-4 hours. With built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a USB-C connection, front and rear cameras, and a durable, lightweight build, it's a practical, affordable choice for younger or first-time users — everything they need, without the price tag of the larger models. It comes complete with a red and a blue case and is backed by a 1-year warranty.
Google Kids Space is pre-installed, providing a safe and engaging experience for children with built-in parental controls for worry-free browsing.
Built to sip power rather than gulp it, longer standby between charges means less time plugged in and more time in use.
At 772g and 9.8mm thin, it's the lightest, most compact tablet in the range built for portability first.
Please note: In order to reduce e-waste, the manufacturer has chosen not to include a USB plug in the box. You can use an existing USB plug with the included USB cable or purchase one from our site. Please see the 'Box Contents' section below for more details.

It's labelled "Kids" because it includes child-focused features rather than being limited to children only: Google Kids Space is pre-installed, offering child-friendly content and parental controls. The tablet comes with red and blue protective cases. Its compact, lightweight design is suited to smaller hands. It includes a fingerprint-resistant screen coating and scratch and water resistance.
