Only lasted a year
I bought my coffee machine in early December 2024 and was delighted with it. Using ESE bags makes the process much cleaner. Everything went well until December 2025 when I noticed the amount of coffee dispensed through the filter had reduced to a trickle. I went through the descaling and cleaning processes as per manual and there was a slight improvement. January 2026 I noticed water leaking from the underside of machine as is wasn’t the drip tray and again the coffee dispensed little coffee I gave up and scraped it. It is a shame that such a good machine has only lasted the guarantee period then packed up

Not the best we have had but does it's job
Got this for a Christmas present. It can be a pain to clean after every use because if you don't the milk frother will get blocked. So you can't leave the milk in the jug for next time as you need to put water in to clean it. For the price you would be better off just getting a cheaper espresso machine with a milk froth wand on the side. It less hassle to clean. You don't get a full mug even on a large. It's advertised as a bean to cup machine and that's not true because other than the milk it's just a normal espresso machine with an extra step for the milk.

Superb machine for the money. You’re not going to get barista quality coffee from a machine at this price, but it makes a nice cup and perfect for those not wanting to stand frothing their own milk, during the morning rush to leave the house!

Hi - For the Breville VCF107 you should not use warm or hot water in the water reservoir.
It is 54mm not 45mm. I measured it.

When using an E.S.E. pod with your Breville VCF107, you should always use the small (single shot) filter, even if you're selecting a larger drink size like a large cappuccino (460 ml). The pod is designed to deliver a single espresso shot, and the machine automatically adds more milk to create the full drink. Using the large (double shot) filter is recommended for ground coffee. Also, please note that the total volume of the beverage can vary depending on the type of milk used and the froth level selected.

It allows you to prepare an espresso shot and then add steamed milk, which is essentially what a white coffee is. You can use the settings for a milky coffee, or manually adjust the milk and espresso ratio to suit your taste.

I put hot chocolate powder in with coffee n for hot chocolate i use hot chocolate in the holder instead of coffee
Hi Sacha - Brew an espresso into a mug, cup or glass. Add two teaspoons of hot chocolate mix or cocoa powder and mix with the espresso. Foam and texture the required quantity of milk, ensuring we have a good quality foam. Add the milk to the cup containing the chocolate espresso and top with whipped cream.
