Great little plug
These wiz plugs are so versatile, just download the Wiiz app and away you go, you can set to come on and off in a variable number of ways - just create your own program to suit your needs. A lot of tech for very little money

Very easy to setup and works perfectly.
Bought this plug to use in conjunction with a fan. It was very easy to setup using the included app and was able to be added to Alex with no issues. Its a tidy little unit and works perfectly.

Don't buy a plug-in timer, buy this!
I bought several of these at Christmas for the Christmas lights, to save trying to reach behind furniture to switch the plug on or off. These smart plugs have been great, much better than a plug-in timer. Using the Wiz app you can switch the plug on or off from your phone, even if you are out. The app also enables you to create automated schedules so the plug works like a timer but with better features. These smart plugs are a great companion to the Philips Wiz smart bulbs where you can group smart plugs and smart bulbs into "rooms". Each room can be automated on a schedule or you can create scenes that can be recalled at the touch of a button. A really good product that we use daily.

Wiz control plug
It took me a little while to set up, as I had never done this type of thing before. Got it working okay, eventually. Works fine, just how I wanted it to - controls light on / off.

Hello Dave,
Our supplier has advised that the Wiz Wi-Fi Smart Plug does require a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection in order to work correctly. As long as your 4G/5G SIM router in the static caravan is broadcasting a standard 2.4GHz network (most mobile routers do), it should connect without any issues.
If the router is currently set to 5GHz-only, you may just need to enable the 2.4GHz band in the router’s Wi-Fi settings.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello Chrissy,
I can advise the following for the Wiz Wi-Fi Smart Plug:
Yes, this does require a Wi-Fi connection to be present for it to work.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Geoo,
From the information we have available, I can advise you can use the Wiz Wi-Fi Smart Plug for an electric oil-filled radiator, as long as the radiator's power consumption does not exceed the plug's maximum load capacity. Most smart plugs, including the Wiz Wi-Fi Smart Plug, can handle typical household appliances.
If your radiator has a high wattage (e.g., 2000W or more), make sure the smart plug is rated to handle that load to avoid any safety issues.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hello GC,
The supplier has advised the following for the Wiz Wi-Fi Smart Plug:
"We wish to clarify that the WiZ Smart Plugs and other WiZ devices are not compatible with the Philips Hue app. The WiZ devices can only be paired with the WiZ Connected application that can be downloaded from the Google or Apple Store".
Thank you for using Q&A.

Hello Geo,

Hi Geo,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Wiz Wi-Fi Smart Plug: The maximum amount of electric current is 13 amperes.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hi Julia,
Yes, this will monitor appliances also.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Julia,
Our supplier has advised that the Wiz Wi-Fi Smart Plug app shows consumption data for your entire home, separated by hour, day, or week. However, the pie chart feature displays the current power usage for each room, providing a snapshot of which room is using the most power in real-time. This chart also shows the duration for which each light has been on or on standby, as well as the amount of power it is currently consuming.
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Q&A
Since the Wiz App updated to 2.0, these are no longer compatible with Siri, unless you want to convolute yourself into a pretzel, trying to set up an Apple Cloud Shortcut.
We are all hoping WizConnected will fix their 2.0 version of the app to bring Siri functionality back, but it doesnt look like they are going to.
Hello Gtis,
I can confirm that this is compatible with Siri Shortcuts.
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Q&A
