Compared to your regular run of the mill irons, the Tefal Express Protect surpasses them all exponentially in all areas. The powerful steam generation makes ironing so much easier and leaves clothes looking cleaner and crisper. I was expecting it to be quite heavy like other products, so was surprised at how light it actually is. There are no temperature settings, which is an added bonus (and pretty clever), so the risk of overheating or scorching garments is practically eliminated. The Tefal Express Protect, with the push of a button, can be switched to a vertical steamer for larger household fabrics or delicate, intricate garments. I would absolutely recommend this appliance for tackling that dreaded ironing pile.

I have a great kitchen range, and this Tefal Express Protect Steam Generator Iron is a great addition to my collection. I have to say that it is the best iron I have ever used. It is very powerful and heats up really quick. It is preset to the perfect combination of steam and temperature that’s 100% safe for all fabrics, which is amazing. Thanks to its combination of heat from the soleplate and powerful steam, Express Protect sanitises as it steams, killing 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, and germs on garments for maximum hygiene. I do recommend it. It is a must-have!

Best iron I've owned

It moves smoothly over fabric, handles creases effectively, and is lightweight so I'm able to pick it up easily. Multiple functions which I'm sure I'll make good use of in future!

The easy life

It’s my first time using a steam generator iron and I wished I had got one earlier. It generated steam really quickly and maintained it, and made it really easy to get through the pile of clothes quickly. I tend to do ironing in batches of whatever is washed, and it was really easy to change the settings to the material of the clothes. Still not a fan of ironing but this steam generator makes it far less of a chore. Would recommend.

Effective and Time-Saving
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Tefal Express Protect over the past few weeks and it has been an fairly amazing experience. Firstly it is light to hold but it effectively straighten the clothing that I am ironing without much issues despite it's lighter weight. I also find the steaming function works really well to clear any stubborn creases on my clothing especially cotton shirts. Additionally I also find the iron glides on clothes seamlessly, making the ironing experience really satisfying. One thing to note is that the calc position makes me unable to stand the iron upright while ironing as it can only be placed on its dock which is something I need to get used to as I have been placing my previous traditional steam iron upright during the ironing process. Overall it is a good product to own and enjoyable experience to use the Tefal Express Protect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to tell you my story with the wonderful TEFAL EXPRESS PROTECT SV9202. Now that I am a mother, all my son’s bodysuits and clothes need to be ironed. Before, it was a real struggle with a regular iron, but with this steam station everything is much easier, in just a couple of moves I’m done ironing. My husband is a nurse, and his work uniform requires up to an hour of ironing to look perfect. Now, with the TEFAL EXPRESS PROTECT SV9202, it’s ready in just 5 minutes.
