Impractical
Looks good and works well but this toaster has the most ridiculous feature which if I had known about it wouldn't have bought it. Basically you can only use the left 2 slots when the other two slots on the right are being used, which means elements on the right will wear out much more quickly plus it is just very impractical in many different ways

Lovely 4 slice option
I got this as I needed a 4 slice toaster so that me and my partner can have toast without the wait for two different sets. The toaster looks lovely, if you only want two slices you have to use the right-hand side, which is worth considering if anyone is wanting it for mixed bread types/allergies. It isn't an issue for me though as we both have the same breads. The amount of heat/time option is a little confusing and not as clear as it could be in terms of the little marks above the large numeric in the middle. I am visually impaired and so am waiting to see if that will cause any issues going forwards.

You would be able to toast bread in just the left hand side of the Haden 201317 Dorchester 4 Slice Toaster, as this toaster has space for 2 pieces of bread on each side (Left & Right), to keep them separate.
