Great product
Wife and I bought it as a Christmas present to ourselves. Extremely glad that we went for this model and not a slightly cheaper one with fewer features. Has been great for many types of bread, and always makes a good loaf with very little effort. Time delay, second release, and dough making features are fantastic. Had it 5 months now, expect it will last a lifetime.

Game Changer
My old bread machine finally ground to a halt after 25 years service and as I had read good reviews I decided to pick the Panasonic and what a great choice. The two loaves I have made so far have been great, light, tasty and perfectly risen. Also the whole for the paddle these days is tiny not the giant sinkhole of days gone past. Wish there was a standard granary recipe in the book that came with it but I've already adapted the one from my old machine. Overall I'm very pleased so far.

I am sorry the vegan gluten free bread is not included in the recipes that the bread maker can make so there is no information whether it's going to be good or not.

It is perfectly possible to add the yeast directly in with the ingredients - add first, before the flour - but the manufacturer recommends using the dispenser.
Bread mixes, containing all ingredients, work extremely well.
Experiment with both?

The automatic yeast dispenser is there as it's designed to add the yeast automatically as the correct point in the programme to ensure the best results. For some programmes on it, you may not get successful results unless you did use it.
It is possible to use a bread mix with your yeast in already though by just adding water and then pressing the relevant button to start the required programme. The appliance does come with a little measuring spoon for the smaller ingredients, e.g. yeast, salt, sugar, etc.
