Bought these to fit a hand made shelf unit. Fitted five stacked on top of each other to fit the gap. Great product. Looks like a built in unit. Very sturdy.

I would advise that the top wire rack just stacks on the bottom one, without needing extra screws or metal to connect them.
There are holes on the top of the two sides of the handles, then on the other side, there are balls at the bottom. When the racks stack, the ball gets stuck into the holes therefore make the stacking stable.
So you would indeed be able to stack three racks.
