The black base plate attaches directly to your ceiling - you will need to get it wired in properly - and the 3 lamps each hang down, casting bright light across your room. Bought this to go above a kitchen breakfast bar. It was so simple to install and looks great when up although one of the shades didn't quite fit correctly so couldn't be tightened fully.
I would certainly recommend this product for its looks and ease of installation.
Bought these to go in my new kitchen/diner and wasn't sure at first but once the the clear shades and bulb were on they look really lovely. They're modern and stylish

We bought this for the kitchen and wanted a light compatible with a dimmer switch. The light does work nicely with a dimmer switch, but beware- the bulbs recommend for it are not compatible with a dimmer switch! So that was a waste of money. The correct bulbs were easy to come by though. We got an electrician to put it up which cost £40. I didn’t find it hard to get each light length the same using a tape measure. It does hang slightly wonky on the middle one but I can probably get it exact if I really wanted. It looks nice, I’m really pleased with it. And with the right bulbs it has a nice soft light when dimmed, but is very bright on full power.

I bought this two weeks ago for over my kitchen table. After researching I found this to be a great buy at a great price. Easy to install. Had lots of nice comments too. Delighted with purchase. I would recommend a dimmer if room is small as a bit bright.

Marvelous value very pleased the way they blend with subtle copper and grey tones my breakfast bar has never looked better thanks .
Beautiful light, looks great above dining table. The length is adjustable but it was a bit tricky getting all 3 to exact same length so took a bit of adjusting. Very happy with it and I would recommend it
