Good quality product, does the job
After having some new hard flooring fitted, I wanted to protect my lovely new floor from any wear or scratches from an office chair. This is a good quality product, thick enough to stay in place, large enough to move around on and no rucking at the edges. It's also pretty invisible so doesn't jar on the eye at all. I've gone for smooth side up and this seems to work well. I was a bit dubious about paying so much for this product but I can see why it costs a little more than similar mats and I'm glad that I did.

Excellent plastic floor mat
I bought this to place under puppy pads for my wooden floor. I have an elderly incontinent dog and needed something waterproof to protect my floor at night but could be left down durable the day without being too noticeable. This is perfect and so easy to clean

Slips about on the hard floor.
Slips away underfoot on hard floor when stepping on approaching to sit. Quite startling when mat and chair slip away from me causing dangerous tendency of backward fall. Not good when specifically sold as Hard Floors Chair Mat. Needs anti-slip pads of some sort. Does look good still seeing your nice flooring through it. Well packed perfectly flat.

Hard floor chair mat
I have just had to change to a chair with caster wheels on , my floor is wooden as I did not want to scratch the floor I bought this mat, 1 you cannot see the mat when laid (a bonus ) 2 it is large enough to go under my table and have enough mat to roll on 3 it helps the chair to move smoothly, last point unless your young which I am not take a trolly to wheel it to the car as it’s large and difficult to handle on your own

"Most dart mats are actually rubber, not plastic. That said, the mat should stop a dart from damaging the floor." (We'd have to add that this mat isn't designed for this purpose though).

The supplier has advised of the following for the Hard Floors Chair Mat when checking what it's made of and the best means of cutting it.
"It may be difficult to cut this product with a Stanley knife, particularly if it is a gripper backed version for carpets. I would suggest a junior saw/hacksaw option."
