About this product
The Orleans Sideboard provides flexible storage for dining essentials, office supplies, or media. It fits naturally with existing furniture, adding practical organisation to your living or dining room. The mango wood effect laminate with metallic detailing adds a contemporary edge, while retro-style handles provide a subtle accent. Three central drawers with smooth metal runners enable easy access to smaller items. Two push-to-open cupboards with fixed shelves provide enclosed storage. Hairpin legs lift the frame for easy hoovering underneath.
Gold-toned handles are comfortable to grip and glide open smoothly. The symmetrical layout keeps things visually balanced in your room. Great storage
Lovely sideboard, a little bit darker than shown on Argos website, but I'm really happy with the design and space it has inside.

GFW Orleans.
Have purchased all. Well packed, no damage to anything. Great colour, easy to put together, will say legs a bit fiddley to put on, where screw holes are. But all in all lovely furniture

Horrendous instruction manual and basic quality
For an item that is not the cheapest, the instructions to put this together is horrendous. It took several attempts of mantling and dismantling the shelves until after many MANY hours, it was put up. But it took far too long. On top of that, because of the poor instructions, there is now a permanent damage/nail holes to the front of the cabinet that is forever going to be visible because of unclear instructions. And I have no choice but to keep it. Once it is all done, sure it looks good. But the quality is basic for the price. It's a purchase that I regret and many hours lost.

Looked good but easily scratched
We bought this sideboard because it looked good. However, when it arrived it was already a little bit damaged. We decided to proceed assembly - but the wood was such poor quality it was scratching so easily. We decided to abandon it and packaged it up and applied for a refund. This took a while to be processed as the unit wasn’t collected for ages. Avoid.

Absolutely beautiful, robust and easy to construct
This looks great but moreover feels heavyweight and built to last. The exterior finish looks lovely and the guilt effect design adds to the elegant look. I like the metal ‘wire frame’ legs as they are thin yet incredible strong. It does not rock or move once assembled. Putting it together was a breeze - the only issue was having to pilot drill some holes that were shown as being there from factory but were not (for feet to attach to). Other than this, took me just over an hour and half from opening box to it having items inside it. Great for the hallway or bedroom.

build or this is hard work and cheaply designed
i was really excited about this item, it had sold out in the place i originally wanted it so ordered on here and had to wait over a month for it to arrive. I was actually quite disappointed, the instructions start of clear then its clear whoever made them becomes bored as they become less clear, the screws cross thread which happened with nearly all screws so heaven forbid if i made a mistake or needed to undo it for some reason. the screws in the doors and legs leave it wobbly and looking uneven. it also took 4.5 hours to build, excessive for a small unit i think

If assembled correctly, the maximum width would be as stated 114cms. I'm afraid It would be difficult if not impossible to overtighten this so that 10mm was lost.
