Easy to clean light when its the right heat .
I got it for my daugter who has 2 children her and her partner the whole fanily have had alot of great use out of it making paninis and toasted sandwiches at lunch times.Thats not all it does its also a griddle for meat

We like the ridged effect, but the downside of this is that it takes longer to heat the panini, and it's much harder to clean than a device with flat plates

This Cookworks 2 Portion Panini Press - Black can be used as a grill and can cook a wide variety of foodstuffs. The foodstuff should be a maximum of 1 cm thick; If using to toast sandwiches, position fillings that are likely to melt (e.g. cheese) towards the center of each sandwich to minimize leakage.

Yes it does. It doesn't seal the sandwich to form like a pocket though (cause the bread is squashed to do that) which is why I bought this machine as I prefer it not sealed.
