Incredible value! Assuming it has the functionality you want (one way, audio only, non-app), it's a great buy. Very clear audio, long range, can adjust volume to leave out very low level burblings. Just a very useful aid for, in our case, checking on an unwell adult

Does the job
We purchased this monitor to help my deaf husband keep tabs on our puppy when in his room. It does work and on top volume even my husband can hear it. The only issue really is the rechargeable batteries take FOREVER to charge up and it emits an annoying bleep while charging. We ended up putting in ordinary batteries so it would work for the next day. Not the end of the world but a tad annoying in this day and age. Hence the 4 stars. However, that said it is good value for money especially as we got 20% off the price. Happy with it for the purpose we bought it for.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Vtech DM1111 Audio Baby Monitor: The VTech DM1111 audio monitor is powered via the mains, you do have the option to operate with batteries in order to enable you to move more freely around the house, batteries are not included with this product.
In order to operate with batteries, you will need 2 x AAA batteries.
