About this product
The Ravencourt Living Rosebud Dementia Reminder Clock has been thoughtfully developed to support people living well with dementia, bringing structure and reassurance to daily routines. This is far more than a simple timepiece. It helps reinforce a sense of rhythm around night and day, meal times, medication schedules and those important little tasks like drinking water or feeding pets that can easily slip by unnoticed.
With both audio and visual reminders that can be set daily, weekly or as one-off alerts, it adapts to individual needs without fuss. You can set up to 20 reminders per day, and choose from 4 different clock displays to suit the person using it. The digital display is clear and easy to read, while the automatic dimming at night time means it will not disturb sleep. A built in night light adds extra comfort and safety during dark hours, and with a 1-year guarantee for peace of mind, this reminder clock is a practical tool for promoting independence and wellbeing at home.

Good features
I bought it for my mum who has Alzheimer's. I set it all up for her, which was easy. She can now clearly see what the day and time is. I have also set up verbal reminders for her medication and appointments, which is working really well.

Expensive, but helpful for Independent Living
This is a great clock for anyone on medication - or to help people who need support for independent living. We used a 16 Gigabyte memory stick to make more personalised reminders. Initially we had difficulty getting this to load up onto the screen until my son followed the instructions and changed the size of the resolution and copied it to a .jpeg file. He managed this himself, although he doesn't consider himself that good with computers. There's always someone who would know how to do this, so just ask for help if you have problems. It was ridiculously expensive, which I don't think is fair, because so many vulnerable people out there could benefit enormously with this clock. Fortunately, we had nectar points which helped a lot with the cost. Another reviewer said people with disabilities don't have to pay VAT. I don't know how much you'd save or how you'd go about it. It would help to have that information displayed clearly on the box. It's a great reminder clock, which comes with built in reminders and displays the day, date and time clearly. Turn the sound down, or up via the buttons on the back.
