Not robust
The bathroom scales were collected at store and were well packed. On first use, however, after careful unpacking and checking instructions, my wife fifted the scales off the floor and the metal rod connecting the front and rear sensor pads came adrift. I returned the item to the local store and demonstrated the fault to the staff member. We had decided that the construction might not be very robust so instead of a replacement we chose to pay £3 extra for the Salter scales with a 15 year warranty. Time wasted on extra trips to the store...annoying!

Poor Design
Although these scales look lovely I was unable to use them. To access the battery compartment, there is the tiniest screw ever seen. I have many screwdrivers, even for glasses, but nothing would shift this screw. No choice but to return them,

Fantastic Price!
I got this as an easy way to track my weight and it does the job fantastically for the price. Readings are accurate (I tend to compare it to the very fancy one they have at the gym). The look is quite modern, is made of glass, measures in KG but to me is not a problem. Is also surprisingly quite light. Will say that is best in a hard floor instead of carpet, I tried it in both. Recommend if you want an easy way to track just your weight for a very good price.
