The Argos Home Essential 6 Piece Knife Set includes 3.5 inch paring knife, 5 inch utility knife, 8 inch bread knife, 7.5 inch carving knife, 6 inch chiefs knife and 8 inch scissors, not sure if they fit into the Argos Home 8 Piece Wooden Knife Block Set which includes the block.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: the blades except the scissors are hollow ground blades.
The hollow ground blades have a concave, bevelled cutting edge surface.
