About this product
The Habitat Roma Chairbed gives you a place to sit during the day and a single bed for overnight guests, all in a compact design that fits into smaller rooms. It's built for occasional use, so it handles weekend visits and the odd friend staying over without needing a permanent spare room. Plump foam cushions with fibre wrap keep you comfortable whether you're curled up reading or settling in for the night. The long back cushion with button detail gives it a modern look. The teal velvet fabric adds a bit of colour without overwhelming your space. Wooden feet keep it stable and lift the frame off the floor, so you can clean underneath easily. The sleeping area measures 77cm by 190cm, that's a proper single bed size. It changes from chair to bed when you need it, so you're ready for guests without storing extra bedding furniture. Suitable for occasional use, which means it'll cope with regular visitors but isn't designed for nightly sleep. Simple assembly required, just attach the feet. It's a good buy, a nice width as a single sofa bed and looks well made. As others say, it's a bit hard for sleeping on directly so will get a mattress topper when sleeping on it. But also easy to put up and down.

Looks lovely and easy to assemble. The colour is softer and nicer in my opinion to the picture. I have an issue with the zip on the loose cushion so may need to get in touch.

Perfect space saving solution
This chair bed looks really stylish. The colour is a lovely soft olive . It folds out easily to make a good size single bed and it feels sturdy enough . I havent slept on it. Its there if needed... It does feel pretty firm and you would maybe need a mattress topper if it was used as a bed on a regular basis. ... but its a practical solution to save space in a room that we can use more now on a daily basis. As a chair its great and large enough for 2 to sit on ...or you could pull it part out like a lounger/day bed if you wanted . I think its great and really pleased we opted for it.

I purchased this as a guest bed though had to use it myself while my bed was on order. I found it to be lacking in filling and comfort when used as the bed and i had to buy a mattress topper. The size and design are great but wish I could have seen chair bed before buying .

No, we would not recommend folding with a mattress topper inside. These compact chairbeds have a tight folding mechanism, and adding a topper inside may:
Prevent it from folding properly
Strain hinges or the frame
Cause an uneven seat when in chair mode.
