The Habitat Roma Chairbed gives you a comfy spot to sit during the day, then transforms into a single bed when you've got someone staying over. It's a smart solution for smaller spaces where you need flexibility. The plump foam cushions hold their shape nicely and feel welcoming whether you're reading, watching TV, or settling in for the night. The grey fabric works with most room colours and styles. Wooden feet lift it off the floor, making it easier to keep underneath clean.

Great addition to my office space
I bought this a few weeks ago for my spare room . As I needed office space more than a guest bed this was the perfect compromise. It looks great though it does bag a bit as others have said . Easy to put together and to convert. Comfy to sit on though not done that long . Not had anyone sleep on it yet but will add a mattress topper

I bought this a month ago and I am very happy with it. It was easy to assemble and is very comfortable. Though the recommendation for a small mattress topper does improve the sleeping comfort. The design is very modern and attractive.

good value for money particularly currently (April 2026) with 20% off. Seems very similar to the more expensive John Lewis version which has a full height back cushion and as a result is far more comfortable as a chair and now wish I had spent the extra money on. Unfortunately it doesn't seem possible to try the Habitat chair in a showroom, but still a strong 4.5 star product given the value for money proposiion.

Adaptable chairbed
already have the small double roma chairbed and it has proven handy for occasional guests. it folds out really simply and quickly and is fine as a seat. for seat use i have big cushions to sit on and also to pad the back. for sleepover i use a mattress topper. it is definitely still a solud surface but suits everyone fine. probably not so good for regular sleeping.

No, we would not recommend folding with a mattress topper inside. These compact chairbeds have a tight folding mechanism, and adding a topper inside may:
Prevent it from folding properly
Strain hinges or the frame
Cause an uneven seat when in chair mode.

To attach the feet to the Habitat Roma Velvet Fabric Chairbed in Sage Green, simply pop them on the foot end. You can bend the chair down while leaving the backrest in place for easy access. The feet are fixed and do not require any additional assembly.
