It includes everything needed to build a complete engine with spark plugs that light up and functional moving parts. The transparent engine cases make the internal mechanics visible whilst the model runs. Step-by-step diagrams guide builders through each stage of assembly. It requires 2 AA batteries to operate. It should be used under adult supervision and it's for domestic use only. Once completed, children will have a working engine model that demonstrates real engineering principles and gives them a real sense of achievement.

Most definately! I am 73 years of age and I really enjoyed doing it - a big kid at heart, I suppose!
I think it could be a bit difficult for a child to build unaided.
