About this product
The Mia Mid Sleeper gives you a practical way to make the most of a smaller bedroom. It's a raised single bed with storage and workspace built into the frame underneath, so your child gets a place to sleep, study and keep their things organised without taking up extra floor space. The solid pine frame provides reliable support, while high protective sides and a sturdy ladder make climbing up and down safe and straightforward. Playful cut-out hearts and bevelled edges add a gentle decorative touch that fits well with children's bedroom furniture.
The space underneath includes a chest of drawers for clothing, a bookshelf for favourite reads, and a pull-out desk that slides away when homework is done. The ladder can be positioned on either side to suit your room layout and must be attached to a wall for stability, with fixings included. Suitable for children aged six and over, with a maximum user weight of 120kg. Comes with a Habitat Kids Rae Comfort mattress featuring an open coil design for firm support and a soft anti-allergy cover to help prevent dust mites and irritations. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions; two people recommended for assembly.

Nice looking bed
I bought it few months ago. My 9y old love it. Nice looking bed and also it’s good solution if you have small bedroom as it has extendable table! Down side is that the surface of the table is hard to clean and the bed is squeaky. Apart that all good.

Daughter loves it
Bought for Christmas, my daughter is over the moon with it and loves the desk and the heart detail. Sides are high enough for us not to worry that she is going to fall out. Only downside is that it does creak a bit although this seems to have got less the more the bed has been used. Desk fitting is a bit fiddly. Overall assembly definitely needs 2 people.

Budget bed with a Big Price Tag
Bought for a child moving up from a cot-bed, for the price I was paying, I was hoping for a little more than I got. Putting the bed and furniture was relatively simple enough and most of it can be one with one person. The quality of the build was not great, there were nails sticking out of the mattress frame, many of the screws supplied were bent or damaged, some bits of the frame had not been painted and the wood was showing through. The frame seems sturdy enough, although creaks a lot when the child moves around in the night. The child loves her bed though, which is what matters. The pull out desk gets used a few times a week and it has yet to all fall apart.

Charming, Practical, Good Quality
I bought this Mia package for my daughter. Whilst assembly was time consuming, it was in no way difficult. The drawers and bookcase are quite deep and so fit a lot of stuff. Also the mattress is comfy. The Mia package is attractive, practical and good quality. Happy daughter and her bedroom is now the envy of her friends.

Fantastic value for money
Really pleased with this bed. It's great for a smaller room. My daughter loves to pull the desk out and have a little den under the bed. We have put fairy lights underneath for her. It does creak slightly but overall is a brilliant bed.

All ok, be careful when putting the drawers on
Good product and my daughter loves it. A very sturdy unit and practical layout once built. I would strongly recommend you have a good quality cordless screwdriver, other wise you will be there for ever! Be careful when putting the drawers on to the sliding mechanisms. Make sure you use a screwdriver to pull the mechanism out, as I cut my finger badly on the edge. This should really be changed by the manufacturer. Still I would recommend this product .

Yes the bookcase is separate from the bed frame. The bed frame is supports it self. The drawers can also be separate if required.

Yes it can be. You would swap the sides of the bed round, enabling the ladders , etc to be on the other side. Hope that helps

I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
When the desk is pushed under the mid sleeper, it´s completely flush with the bedside rail / does not take up any extra space.
The desk can be pulled out 84cm from the bedside rail on the mid sleeper.
The measurements on the bed & furniture are

Desk H:73,5 x W:60,0 x D:89,0 cm
Bookcase & Chest H:73,0 x W:86,0 x D:40,0 cm

The units are individually white, the only exception is that the carcasses of the drawer which is plain wood. You can use the bookcase as an individual item no problem
