About this product
The Habitat Heavy Duty Detachable Bunk Bed Frame provides sleeping space for two without locking you into one layout. Its solid pine frame handles everyday family use, and the modern grey finish suits most bedroom styles. The clever part is it splits into two single beds when you need flexibility, so you're not stuck with a bunk as kids grow or when you move. Both beds feature matching dimensions, so they look identical when separated. Fitting holes come with plugs to keep the finish neat when used apart.
Thick safety rails and solid slats keep everything secure and stable, that's really important when you've got kids sleeping up top. It must be attached to a wall or building structure for safety, and wall-mounting brackets ensure it stays firmly in place. The ladder's in a fixed position for consistent access to the top bunk. Each bunk supports up to 100kg, so it's suitable for ages six and over, including adults. Headboards arrive ready assembled to reduce assembly time. Self-assembly required, two people recommended, and all fixings are included.

Highly recommended this bunk bed
Great bunk bed, it’s incredibly sturdy, looks great and was easy enough to put together. Great flexibility of having them as two identical single beds too, if needed. The kids love it and we are very impressed with it too. Definitely recommend this bunk bed!

Brilliant Bunk Bed!
Very sturdy, not too difficult to build, also we built it in a tiny box room so had to build it different than the instructions but still straight forward enough. Not noisy either, alot of bunk beds are creaky, this is not, it's silent even when adult climbing the ladders. Great space between floor and bottom bunk so plenty of space for storage in such a tiny room.

Really solid and attractive bunk bed
Really pleased with this bed, especially as I bought it in the January sale. My girls have been sleeping in it for a few weeks and it’s super sturdy and comfortable. It was pretty easy to assemble and I managed most of it alone (aside from lifting the top bunk on to the bottom of course!). And it looks really smart - it was hard to tell the grey from the various website pics, but it’s a really lovely mid-tone (not as dark as the main photo, but not as light as the colour swatch). I’d highly recommend, it feels like it’ll last for a very long time.

Stylish design and well made
Gorgeous, well made and easy to build. We're super happy with the bunk beds and our girls love them! They were super excited to discover them on Christmas morning 😁 I love the fact they can be two single beds too! Handy for when the girls decide they want to stop sharing the room and go back to have their own bedroom.

Great bunkbeds
Fashionably coloured sturdy timber bunkbeds which can be used independently. Very rigid and heavy when assembled, so no toppling over when your own cheeky monkeys are hanging off them, Timber slats and millions of screws. Alan key fittings for all the other ironmongery. The ladder is quite comfortable too, so I'm told. Great build, great quality, great buy.
