About this product
The GFW Chiswick Ottoman Bed gives you plenty of storage underneath without taking up extra floor space. It's designed for bedrooms where wardrobes and drawers can't quite fit everything, so you can tuck away linen, blankets, towels or clothes out of sight. A gas hydraulic system lifts the base smoothly, so you don't have to strain when you need to reach stored items. The lined storage compartment keeps your belongings protected from dust and snags. The upholstered frame with soft velvet fabric sits comfortably in modern or traditional bedrooms, and the headboard is included in the package.
The side lift mechanism can be configured to open from either the left or right, depending on your room layout and how you want to access the storage. The plywood slat base supports your mattress evenly and allows airflow underneath. There's 516.67 litres of storage capacity inside, so there's room for bulky bedding sets or seasonal clothing. The frame holds a maximum user weight of 220kg. It arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, and assembly works best with two people. A one year manufacturer's guarantee is included.

Very happy with this bed. It looks more expensive than it was! My daughter and I built it - it did take 4 hours - it was fiddly rather than difficult and instructions were easy to follow. If I bought it again I would pay for delivery and construction but we did manage it

Bed slat missing, multiple black marks on the cream bedframe. Very disappointed with the quality of the item. However it was fairly easy to build and is comfortable.

Really happy very nice colour and material. The lift features work well and do not feel cheap however the headboard feels cheap and is not padded very much. However still a great and affordable choice.
