Promised the earth-delivers very little.
Reviews pointed me towards this but it proved to be absolutely awful. I could t register via laptop-constant faulty error code, no customer support number and a 24/48 email support wait. Pictures were cut off rather than cropped correctly-dreadful!

A great product - love it!
Easy to set up, stylish to look at and works really well, so am delighted with it. Photos appear in different combinations so every day is different...... videos can be watched as well. The only negative is that you spend so much time looking at it :>)

Excellent
We think this product is excellent. We’ve have had one for couple of years now and have used it regularly, and it has been incredibly useful. Not only that, but it allows you to look back on memories and experiences, which is really special. It’s a fantastic product and we would highly recommend it to anyone considering it. It clearly captures moments as they happen and lets you revisit them later, which is amazing. It’s something we truly value. We’ve also bought it as a Christmas gift for someone, and we did the same last year as well. It makes a wonderful present and is very well worth it.

As usual, this product is way beyond the skill set of anyone over 70 years to operate. I am quite techy and I found the lack of instructions and the complexities of getting it working very irritating. My mother now has it at home and cannot make it work. I have tried to talk her through, but it is not easy. When it works it is great, but we will never upload more pictures... could be a total waste of money

Portrait photos on the AURA Carver 10.1 Inch Digital Photo Frame - Seasalt do not automatically fill the whole screen; they are either displayed side by side using Photo Pairing or can be filled with a blurred or black background to occupy the full screen.

The supplier has advised for the AURA Carver 10.1 Inch Digital Photo Frame - Seasalt: Aura offers several ways to prepare your frame with preloaded content and a gift message that the recipient will see once their frame is connected to WiFi (a stable connection is required).
Options for Setup:
If the recipient has both WiFi and a smart device, we recommend using the Virtual Gift Code, which is the easiest option and works remotely, even while the frame is still being shipped.
If the recipient has WiFi but no smart device, you can either set up the frame at their home or preset their WiFi connection. For guidance, please see this FAQ: Can Aura Frames be used without a smart device (phone/tablet)?
To Prepare the Gift (Virtual code):
New Aura Frames Users:
Download the Aura Frames app (App Store).
Create an account. When opening the app for the first time, the frame setup will start automatically.
You will be asked who the frame is for. Select "Someone else" to start the gift preparation.
Existing Aura Frames Users:
Open the app and tap the three lines in the top-left corner.
Scroll down and select "+ New Frame."
You will be asked who the frame is for. Select "Someone else" to start the gift preparation.
Generate a Virtual Gift Code:
When prompted, choose “Generate a virtual code"
Follow the instructions to invite gift contributors, preload photos and videos, and to write a message.
You will receive an email with the unique gift claim code to share with the recipient.
Once the recipient sets up their frame, the app will ask them if they received the frame as a gift.
If they confirm, they will be able to enter their code to view the message and photos.
