The Gtech Koala SC02 is a proper little spot cleaner for dealing with spills and stains as they happen. It's light enough to grab quickly and carry around the house or out to the car. The motor delivers solid cleaning power, and the dual water tank system keeps clean water completely separate from the dirty stuff you're pulling out of carpets, upholstery or car seats.
It's brilliant for freshening up high-traffic areas on carpets, tackling marks on stairs, or sorting out spills on upholstery and hard floors. The clean and dirty water tanks are separate for hygienic results, so you can see exactly what's being lifted out. The cord gives you decent reach without dragging an extension lead around. It comes with a spot cleaner brush head and a self-cleaning cover, plus there's a carry handle built in for moving it between rooms or taking it to the car. Simple to use and store, and it works across carpets, hard floors, upholstery and stairs.

Gtech the Best

Well designed, but takes longer to clean than use!
Like all Gtech stuff, this is a well-designed and well-built piece of kit. It also does what it says on the box. However, if you've only one spot to clean, then you'll find that it takes only two minutes to do the cleaning, but another 5-10 minutes to clean the machine afterwards. I also found that the electrical cable is a nuisance; why can't this be rechargeable like most other Gtech stuff? There are also a couple of minor issues: (1) Nowhere on the machine or in the manual does it say how much cold water goes in the tank. This information is necessary it you're going to add the correct quantity of carpet cleaner. (2) On page 9 of the manual there are instructions on how to clean the filter, including: "Use a suitable tool to remove the filter"and "WARNING: do not remove the rubber seal". So what is a "suitable tool" to remove the filter without damaging the seal? Given the price, could a "suitable tool" not be included??

Cannot get enough of gtech excellent
We have bought nearly One of every one of the gtech we love them every new one we have found they pick up dirt and dust better than a corded vacuum cleaner. Plus you don’t have wire to trip over they are easy to manage and empty we love gtech.

Easy to store / carry Worked well on dog pee stain even without addition of chemicals. Hose a bit twisty and wants to go in its own direction so needs a firm grip

Does the job albeit a bit fiddly
I've just used my Koala for the first time. It's compact and easy to move around but the electric cable needs to be longer and the black pipe gets in the way making it fiddly.

Floor Cleaning System
I have used Gtech floor cleaning products for a number of years and have even bought them as gifts for my mother and daughter. I find them light to handle and easy to use, I can go round the house from room to room and get everywhere clean from doing a thorough clean or a quick run round to keep on top of the housework.
