Good hardware, middling software
Good picture. Decent sound. Poor remote control and the general layout of the smart tv interface is not great, as you can't seem to tag apps or assemble your own favourites, leaving you to scroll through a huge list. The 'recent' just gives you the previous one (!) you used, so that's pretty useless. My previous TV with Roku was hugely superior in that regard.

This TV is so much bigger than I expected. Works perfectly. Literally plug in and connect to WiFi and that's it. Picture is great, sound could be a tiny bit better but it doesn't affect use at all. Amazing quality for the price.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Toshiba 50Inch 50UV1563DB Smart 4K UHD HDR DLED Freely TV: The HDMI Format option will need to be set as Enhanced format from the Settings > Connection > HDMI & CEC menu in order to watch 4K HDR/HLG content.
