Good rapid boil kettle previous lid design better
This is a good kettle, as is rapid boil, 3000W / 3kW power. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the design has changed since the last one I bought. The top lid is now a full circle and narrower than the previous flat top lid half moon design. The older design was easy to fill with a jug of water and my personnel preference is for a larger opening in a kettle. The kettle has good illumination both switch and inside light up blue when powered up. Good standard kettle capacity of 1700mL / 1.7L. Fitted with a 13 amp fuse and has boil dry protection.

OK but small opening
The kettle is good, boils at a reasonable speed and looks good. My only slight complaint is that the lid opening is small. It's ok for filling from a tap, but I use a water filter jug and it's a bit awkward filling the kettle from that.
