Great picture and apps, software a bit hit or miss
I bought this TV a couple of weeks ago and I have mixed feelings about it. The picture is great whether it's running in TV mode or via the EE TV box, unfortunately the TV's software is a bit unreliable and the TV often hangs when changing between the two and then needs a reboot, which is irritating because it just shouldn't be happening. I can see from a few other reviews that some people have found the same. Also the TV speaker sound leaves a lot to be desired, like most newer LED TVs the case isn't big enough for decent sound- luckily I have a soundbar but if you don't then be prepared to buy one! Overall generally happy with it but may have to get a replacement if the software keeps crashing.

GREAT SO FAR
I've only had my Hisense tv for 2 weeks but so far i am very surprised by the quality , picture quality is excellent, sound quality is good but not the best, but most modern tv's sound quality is not great due to them being very thin, a soundbar solves any problem if you are not happy with the tv speakers. It is extremely easy to set up and the remote is simple to use, not to complicated, the only question is how long will it last, I've no idea ! time will only tell. but so far so good :-)

Yes, you can still receive free-to-air TV channels through an aerial without internet. You just need a digital TV or set-top box and a properly tuned antenna. Internet is only required for streaming or on-demand services.
