The Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ99 is a pocket-sized travel zoom camera that delivers genuinely impressive capability in a compact form. Built around a 20.3-megapixel MOS sensor and a LEICA DC zoom lens spanning wide 24mm to telephoto 720mm, it handles everything from sweeping landscapes to distant subjects with ease. The 30x optical zoom gives you true magnification without digital tricks, whilst 5-axis image stabilisation keeps shots sharp even when you're fully zoomed in or shooting handheld in fading light.
Weighing 322g, this compact camera slips easily into a bag without weighing you down on trips. It shoots 4K video with sound for high-quality footage, and the 3-inch touchscreen makes adjusting settings straightforward. Nice but not for me.
I bought this a week ago, tried it out to record a football game my grandson was playing in. Whilst zooming in the camera distorts whilst recording which does state it happens during recording. The stabilisation is a bit hard to keep level whilst following the ball, I haven’t tried on a tripod yet. Taking multiple pics causes a few seconds lost as the pics taken takes this time to store on the card. Unfortunately this camera is not what I am looking for especially for what I need it for. Nice camera with the flip screen, lightweight and small enough to fit in a pocket

A superb compact camera
★★★★★ Excellent compact camera with impressive performance! I’m really impressed with the Panasonic LUMIX TZ99 after my LX7 finally gave up after 10 years good use. The TZ is a great mid price compact point and shoot that slips into the pocket easily. The auto setting works really well but there is a range of other programmes available too. What mainly appealed to me is the ability to shoot RAW images as I like to control my processing. The zoom range and image quality is excellent, with super sharp focus. The autofocus is quick. The camera feels well-built, and the battery life has been more than adequate for a full day of shooting. Highly recommended—definitely a five-star camera.

Only just purchased so unable to rate photo quality but camera relatively easy to set up albeit a bit of a faff to set up sending photos to phone Camera itself is well made with a sturdy feel to it and its zoom lens capabilities are great for such a compact camera Currently familiarising myself with various picture settings etc and impressed with range of options available I am sure I will have fun with this super little camera

Amazing Quality Compact Camera for everyday use.
I have really enjoyed getting back into having a camera, after years of using my phone. This surpasses anything taken using my iPhone. Cannot believe the zoom, the feel and weight of the camera, all feels like a quality product. It’s very easy to use in Intelligent Auto mode (great for me as a beginner) yet has many features that I will develop a skill set to utilise and maximise the features that this camera has. I have just taken some great shots whilst having the opportunity to attend the tennis at Wimbledon.

This is using a USB-C cable type, the SD card doesn't have a high limit. and you are able to send over bluetooth to another device.
