Best kettle ever
I only wanted a small kettle as there are only two of us in the household now and this kettle is great because it can’t be overfilled with it only being a 1litre, my husband is disabled and finds kettles in the past so heavy he has nearly burned himself, this kettle so easy to use with it being lightweight and also having a large display window with the cup measurement he doesn’t overfill it and also finds it is easy to pour, we don’t have standing water left in the kettle so there is no limescale buildup, I know I can safely say that this is the best kettle I have owned.

Persistent chemical taste and smell when boiling.
Despite thoroughly washing the kettle, repeatedly boiling and discarding fresh water, and cleaning it with bicarbonate of soda, it continues to produce a strong chemical or plastic smell when heated. The smell noticeably taints the water and makes tea taste unpleasant. The same mains tap water has no unusual smell or taste when boiled in my normal household kettle, so the problem appears to be specific to this kettle. It smells fine when cold after cleaning, but the chemical odour returns as soon as the water is boiled. Repeated cleaning has not resolved the issue, so I have replaced it.
