About this product
The Jackson Shorty High Sleeper gives you a complete bedroom in one compact footprint that's ideal for smaller rooms. There's a built-in desk for homework and hobbies, a wardrobe for clothes, three deep drawers for bits and bobs, and plenty of shelf space for books and toys. It's designed for kids aged six and over, and it's strong enough to support adult use too, with a maximum weight of 100kg. The high sides create a secure sleeping area, and the fun white handles add a fresh touch to any bedroom.
The frame's sturdy design keeps everything stable through years of daily use, and a medium feel mattress is included so you're ready to go. Wall-mounting brackets are provided and must be used to secure the bed safely, that's really important for children's furniture. The ladder's in a fixed position for consistent access. The desk sits at a comfortable height for working, while the wardrobe provides hanging and storage space. Arrives flat-packed with everything you need for assembly, two people recommended for putting it together.

Great all in one bedroom set up
Purchased this cabin bed for my daughters very small box room. It came complete in a number of boxes. 4 if I remember rightly. Really simple for building if and only you follow the step by step instructions. Sometimes my adhd interrupts. 😅 Once it's complete, stand back and admire the solid creation in all it's glory. My daughter loves it and she now has plenty floor space, somewhere for clothing and many hidden areas. I built 90% of this on my own with a little help from my partner. I recommend if you can, have help otherwise, set aside a whole day with plenty coffee breaks. I cannot recommend this sturdy piece enough. Also upon opening the boxes, have all your numbered sections in order. Trust me, it does help because there is lots of boards.

Great bed for small rooms
We’ve had this bed now since September. My son is 5 and it’s the perfect bed for his small room. With the built in wardrobe and drawers, desk and lots of discreet shelving, there’s a place for everything leaving him lots of floor space to play. The handles are ugly so I replaced them with football knobs but I would have done that regardless. Definitely need two people to build and it’s a big job that you definitely need to take your time over the instructions to build. It’s like a jigsaw so if something doesn’t slot in perfect you have to figure out where you’ve gone wrong. Sturdy and good quality product.

Fantastic product
The bed is very nice exactly like photo, the set up is so easy a perfect well thought step by step instructions for two people it took us half a day but very easy to to set up. We bought the bed with the mattress very comfortable and safe. Highly recommend

Sturdy bed
Quite complex to put together, but the instructions were very easy to follow. Just beware on the ladder steps, very easy to have them the wrong way up ( bolts on the top) Very well made and very sturdy. Overall very impressed.

Looks great!
Lovely bed, it looks great and my son loves it. Overall the instructions were very good but some of the fixings weren’t amazing. One screw snapped completely and one of the handles keeps coming off as the screw doesn’t appear to be long enough (can be easily replaced though). It’s still a very nice bed though and fits the space I needed it for perfectly.

This makes it suitable for older teenagers/adults up to the maximum weight limit.
The storage at the back that you are referring to may be the shelf behind the middle shelves that are in between the wardrobe and the desk part.

A mattress is included with this bed frame. A standard UK single mattress will not fit.
