About this product
Make sure you always know when and if to charge your vehicle's battery. It has an intelligent in-built microprocessor, easy to read LED display and reverse polarity and short circuit protection. The charger has a built-in memory for your convenience as well as water and dust resistance. (IP65) The charger is suitable for all types of 6V and 12V lead acid and gel batteries.
The inbuilt microprocessor senses the condition of the battery and controls the regulator to provide the right current and voltage to suit the charging characteristic of the battery.

Great battery charger

Does what it should
Bought this. For mg zs that only does short journeys so not charging the battery enough. The battery wasn't flat but had been drained slightly, car still started with no issues but the radio was stuck in initialising mode. This did it's job but was incredibly slow, 26 hours in total and for that reason lost a star. This was cheap enough to buy so thought I'd give it a go incase it is just a battery issue rather than the alternator. Seems to be holding its charge for around a few weeks and no issues so far. I would say it's worth buying as it's a lot cheaper than a new battery and can be clipped on without removing the battery but be prepared to leave it until it's finished and has done charging as it goes through a battery prep before it even starts charging. Plug and unit can't get wet and I have no garage or car port to charge under so would recommend you keep the sweetie tubs from Christmas and cut a notch in it.

Very happy with this purchase. I use my car very little which was having a negative effect on my battery. This small device maintains the battery power at maximum meaning I won't be left unable to start my car.

Great for keeping a battery in good condition for a vehicle that is used infrequently. Very good that there are a variety ways of connecting the charger to a battery one of which allows the charger to be connected without having to undo nuts and bolts.

Nto totally sure what the customer means by soft start, however if you are trying the start the vehicle the Battery charger must be totally disconnected from the vehicle.

This charger is IP65 rated so can be used outside. However, the plug needs to be placed in a indoor socket or a external socket that is able to cover the socket fully.
