About this product
Get healthier meals on the table in minutes with the George Foreman Large Health Fit Grill. It heats up fast and grills chicken, burgers, vegetables and paninis in under 6 minutes, faster than a conventional oven grill at 230C. With 2400W power and a large surface that fits 9 portions, it's ideal for families or batch cooking. The floating hinge adjusts to different thicknesses for even cooking. The sloped surface drains fat into the drip tray, and non-stick plates wipe clean easily.
It sits neatly on your worktop despite its generous capacity, and it's around 30% more compact than previous models without losing cooking space. The temperature indicator lets you know when it's ready to cook, and the shiny black finish with matte details and bevelled housing looks smart wherever you place it. It's light enough to move around but stable when you're cooking. Register it online and you'll get a reassuring 3-year guarantee for complete peace of mind.

The George Foreman grill is praised for its large size, quick heating, even cooking, and ease of use. However, users find cleaning difficult due to fixed plates, lack of temperature control, and some design flaws.

Good replacement
Bought the Foreman grill as a replacement for an old one that was starting to lose it's non stick. Excellent all rounder - can use as a grill or as a toastie maker - equally as good. The only thing I'm not keen on is that the grill plates have "George Foreman" on the model now so your toastie does end up with that stamped on it!

Gorgeous George
Used several times successfully; looks messy after cooking but cleans up easily. Cooks thoroughly and easy to monitor; top tip: wear an oven glove when lifting the lid! 😉

Great Grill at a Low Price
I got this because I wanted to cook skewers and my grill pan on the hob wouldn't do that easily. I didn't realise quite how good this was. It heats up really quickly (just a few minutes) and then cooks food on both sides so you can go from turning it on to having a meal in less than 10 minutes. The option to drain fat off is also great as most burgers these days have fat pockets in them to make them moist but it's not very healthy. The more I've used it the more stuff I put on it as it works better than a grill pan and a frying pan and is massively quicker. I'm even considering getting rid of my barbecue as the large size grill can easily accommodate a BBQ fort he average family. The only downsides are that the fat collector doesn't fit as easily as it could and you have to clean the grill plates in situ so it's a little bit more of a faff.

Using the grill to cook food
Disappointed. Spent a long time choosing and decided on this model because of its large capacity. There’s no on/off switch or any way of regulating the temperature so as soon as it’s plugged in it heats up. The drip tray is too small to collect fats without over spilling. It’s also awkward to clean the surfaces which I had to do on the draining board It also dries out the food during cooking but is very fast !

Hi Rue,
Thanks for your query about the George Foreman Large Health Fit Grill 25820.
Yes, you can grill bacon on this. You'd need to consider a number of factors though. Whilst it would depend on the size and thickness of the rashers, as bacon tends to be much thinner than things like steak or sausages, you'd need to consider the cooking time and temperature.
Thanks for using Q&A.
