Excellent carpet cleaner
I’ve done my lounge, stairs and small bedroom with this cleaner and results are great so much cleaner carpets and unbelievable the amount of dirt that comes off The machine is abit on the heavy side but that’s the only negative

Very pleased
I bought this carpet cleaner about a month ago and am very pleased with it. It replaced a cleaner I've had for some years which originally was quite good, but with the drawback that it was heavy, took up a lot of space and was difficult to store. By contrast, this cleaner is lightweight and easy to store. I was very surprised at the cleaning efficiency of this machine. My carpets are old, and I have always had pets. I haven't recently cleaned as frequently as I should have due to having bad arthritis and finding it increasingly difficult to manoeuvre my old machine, combined with it becoming increasingly inefficient. I was therefore very surprised and pleased with the results with my new machine. It has actually removed some old and deeply ingrained stains, and you can really see the difference. It is also so easy move round and is lightweight. Overall, I can't fault it. Also bought at a good price, so very pleased with that as well

Easy to clean after use.
I have only used this once since purchased. It was easy to set up and use. It uses more detergent than my last machine but that was for the highest cleaning level. I found it easy to clean the waste water tank after use as the inside mechanism can be removed. Overall I am very pleased with this machine.

Great Bissell Carpet Cleaner
I wanted a good carpet cleaner and thought buy a Bissell as they are a good make. Price not bad. Haven’t used it yet.

Does What it Claims
My 2nd Pro Heat revolution machine, the first one died electrically after 4 years. Used for cleaning tenanted properties it gets way more use/abuse than in a domestic situation. "Peak Bissell" season is July & August. For the rest of the year it sits dormant in the garage unless required for a quick domestic cleanup at home. The machine in some respects feels flimsy and sounds flimsy (like the tanks) but in reality proves quite robust even after incurring numerous collisions with furniture or skirting boards. The hand tools and hose system work well but can sometimes take a while to prime up to get the cleaning fluid through. The suction system is powerful reducing the moisture content of treated carpets by around 50%. By this I mean if you use 3 litres of water on a section of carpet the machine will then extract 1.5 ltr of it as filthy water. That is actually pretty good going for a dense textile and close to a theoretical maximum for vacuum slot extraction. The water tanks are fairly small for the area they can clean, several empties and refills are required for large rooms when using the max clean setting. I've tried many different detergent types from other manufacturers and have to say the very overpriced Bissell products a) work best in terms of cleaning and b) create the least foam in the collection tank. Froth in the tank causes premature operation of the float requiring more frequent emptying. After a job is done it's really important to flush the machine and tools through with clean water. Getting hair and fibres out of the machines head is difficult as is de-hairing the brushes. If you don't do this properly expect problems next use when all the crud has dried in it. The big deal they used to make about heat wave water heating is nonsense. Blowing warm exhaust air from the motor over the water tank does nothing. Fill from the hot tap and you'll be golden. For the money the machine works brilliantly, yes it's got shortcomings. It's exceedingly noisy, it cleans like a demon. Cleaning power is what I need and that's why I bought the same again.

Brilliant machine
Couldn't wait to try this out and I was not disappointed. It came with three little bottles of cleanser so I could set it up straight away. Easy to understand instructions made a nice change and I was away! Couldn't believe the dirt it drew out of my carpets and they were dry before the hour was up. Such a transformation! Can't sing it's praises enough. Shame that the shampoo is so expensive to buy but it won't stop me from using it. Fantastic results and so easy to use.
