About this product
This Aspley Kingsize Ottoman Bed is designed to help you make the most of your bedroom space. It's a solid pine bedframe that gives you somewhere comfortable to sleep and a hidden storage compartment underneath for bedding, spare pillows, or out-of-season clothes. The end lift mechanism uses hidden grab handles, so you can raise the mattress base to access the storage without moving the whole bed. The grey finish works with a range of bedroom styles, and the wooden frame provides steady support night after night.
The base has sprung wooden slats that support your mattress evenly and allow air to circulate. The concealed compartment beneath provides genuine storage depth, helping you keep your bedroom tidy without needing extra furniture. It's a kingsize frame, so there's room for two people to sleep comfortably. The siderails sit at a practical height for getting in and out of bed easily. Arrives flat-packed with clear assembly instructions, and two people are recommended for setup.

I love this bed, easy to put together. Just the extra space that was needed, so much fits in the space. However have removed one star as there are a few marks and dent on the bed that shouldn't be there when openingthe boxes.

Pre-drilled holes a problem, but it looks great!
Wanted a white wooden ottoman bed, and this fit the bill perfectly - until I tried to put it together! I guess you get what you pay for, as it was cheaper than many others. I built it straight after fitting IKEA wardrobes, which went together brilliantly and quite easily. The instructions on this were better, in fact REALLY good to follow - but the pre-drilled holes for dowel rods and screws just didn't match up on the separate pieces, and at one point, when I had to force two pieces together, a little split appeared in one of the sections of wood. However, it is in place now, and looks great. I am very happy with it (I just hope the wood doesn't split any more)!

Apologies, no, the headboard is what hold the sides together as the legs of the headboard are connected fully to the bed. Unlike conventional headboards that just attached to a base.
